This was my first view of Yiling Square in down-town Yichang when I arrived in December 2007. The coldest winter for 50 years with snow and ice disrupting traffic all over the country and 30 million telephones knocked out. In the summer time this square is as pretty as a picture with activities going on during the day and dancing on saturday nights. Of course this is not allowed on the lawn just the paved portion - No trespassing on the grass.
